MAGNETIC COIN DIRECTORY
Over 500 different coins from some 70 countries have now been confirmed as being sufficiently magnetic to behave in a similar manner to the coins shown.
Unfortunately, there is only one such coin from the United States of America (dated 1943) and none from Australia or Chile.
For enjoyment, and to stimulate science education, we are hoping that Mints issuing magnetic coins will endeavour to make them available to children and adults in these and other countries, as they do with other coins for collectors, investors and for use as presents.
